Simon Blake is a London based actor and writer. After gaining a certificate in
Shakespearean Acting at RADA, he won a Dance and Drama Award to study at
the Drama Studio London. He is a winner of the BBC’s Carleton Hobbs Group
Commendation Radio Award, and his acting credits include children's TV presenter,
Professor Pop, and the Doctor Who audio adventures.
Among his recent writing credits are Doctor Who - Time Shadows
(Pseudoscope Publishing), Short-Fuse (Komedia), Ghost Stories for
Christmas (Audioscribble); as well as adaptations of Dickens’
“The Signal-Man” (2016 Vault Festival) and Macbeth (Solomon Theatre).
He is currently an artistic director and resident writer for
Audioscribble, a member of the Southend Poetry Society, and a
reviewer of the Doctor Who – Kasterborous website.
